Obviously I've get out more often if I'm doing stuff like this in my spare time ... oh well.
Ever watch Doom players trounce around with their chainsaw and envy their possession of a handheld weapon without the disadvantage of a limited ammo supply? (or gasoline supply, for that matter) Well, wait no longer! Now Marathon does it better with the oriental secrets of an "empty-handed" weapon! Yes, it's the best of Kung Fu, Taekwondo, and Karate all rolled into one. It's just like watching Bruce Lee movie with aliens getting pummeled by rapid-fire fists. Heck, make believe the colonists are minions of some evil warlord army and go after them for more fun!
The new fist has a rather long range, so you can punch out an unsuspecting chump across the room from the doorway without making a sound. If you punch out somebody squarely with a running start, you'll see them fly across the room with more momentum than a rocket blast. For more more yucks, try this in a long curved hallway or a big room.
How do I use it?
Simply drop the file named "Physics Model" place in the same folder as your Marathon application and then launch the game. When the program warns you of inexplicable crashes, grin and ignore it since you're on the bleeding edge anyway, right?
This is lots of fun on net play since your pal will think this is just another "big guns" file, until you smack his chin halfway across an arena. Just sure your victim, eh ... friend has a copy of this file too or else the programs will behave strangely. This doesn't mean fun gameplay, just "weird".
